Tour Brown Sites in Topeka
Post Office (former Federal Court Building)

On the northeast corner of 5th and Kansas is the two story gray building that serves as Topeka's main post office. Until 1976 this building also housed the Federal District courtrooms. It was in this building that the plaintiffs and attorneys stepped out of the courtroom and into the pages of history. Although many of those involved, including Oliver Brown, are deceased their actions in this place will live forever.

East of the post office building notice the red brick building at the end of 5th street. This building now houses the Federal District Court.
